Vaccination Drive for Girl Students – A Step Towards a Healthier Future

Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir, Mulund, in collaboration with Reliance Foundation, successfully conducted a free HPV vaccination camp for 215 girl students aged 9 to 18 years. The drive aimed at protecting our students against cervical cancer and other HPV-associated cancers through India’s first indigenous gender-neutral qHPV vaccine developed by the Serum Institute of India.

The vaccination camp was held in the school basement, beginning promptly at 10:30 AM. Students attended school as per regular timings, and parents were welcome to visit the school and be present during the vaccination process. Following the vaccination, students were allowed to leave with their parents, ensuring comfort and convenience for all involved.

The drive was carried out smoothly under the supervision of qualified medical professionals, with excellent coordination between the school staff, medical team, and volunteers. Parents expressed their appreciation for the initiative, highlighting the school’s proactive approach toward student health and well-being.

This initiative not only reflects our commitment to holistic education but also our dedication to empowering students through preventive healthcare. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Reliance Foundation and Serum Institute of India for making this impactful health drive possible.

We are proud to contribute to the nationwide effort of creating a safer, healthier future for our girls.
